Normally ai stitches you up like a kipper but occasionally something good happens so
What is the best thing that happened to you in MED II ?

For me as I was about 2 turns away from attacking that town in central Spain and it gets an earthquake resulting in the spanish armies going down to 1/3 rd strength whilst my armies were on the edge of it all and untouched (I lost a spy in the town but thats all)

Or the first time I slotted Toke (felt soooo good)

Well there have definitely been some positives, just like you said. I remember in a Danish campaign I managed to stay at peace with almost everyone until 1220 or so. Poland was my ally for the entire game and never betrayed me. It was really the only time I managed to finish the campaign with a "Reliable" reputation after going down from an average "Trustworthy" in the game. This meant I could basically sign any treaty with anyone, because I was universally loved. Even the Timurids came offering me an Alliance lol, but I refused because the rest of the world would have hated me for it. My last province was also coincidently the last one in my conquering of the Americas so it felt good winning after conquering the new world
"Oh yes, there will be blood!"

Dang, now I am in a quandry. As an officer of the court, am I obliged to report admissions of illegal activity to the appropriate authorities? Since I don't know the jurisdiction, I'll just tell Obama and he'll take care of it.

Once my Spanish King had three princesses, and all of them had at least six hearts to their names. They were collectively able to get some great generals, thereby making my family line very strong. Oh, and something similar happened when one of them stole away Otto- I sent him on a crusade and all his sons started out with 6 or 7 stars. It was lovely- nobody was ugly, crazy, or stupid. Almost all useful traits.
