Jimmy Fallon replacing Conan

I'm happy for Conan moving up to the next time slot. But God do I hate Jimmy Fallon. What a piss poor replacement for Conan.

I was really psyched to see that the Roots are his house band. Awesome!

That being said, I stopped watching the show after De Niro. Some of the stuff was just so unfunny (Lick it for 10? WTF?) But I'll cut him some slack for two reasons: 1) It's his first time and 2) Robert de Niro is one of the worst interviewees (is that a word?). even watching him on the Daily Show was painful.

jimmy falon ruined SNL, he completely sucks. Stop laughing in all the skits you ing retard jesus, he is one of the few people out there that every time I see him, i just want to beat that smirk with a lead pipe.

I don't even want to watch Fallon's show, I'm just waiting for Conan to come back in June.

Yeah but I mean the best thing about Conan's time slot was he'd still be on if you came home early from a night of drinking. Now I'd rather be found drunken in a gutter without pants and not remember the last six hours of my life than to go home early and watch Fallon.

I actually felt embarrassed for Fallon watching the show, it was like watching a car speeding along towards a person and wanting to yell GET OUT OF THE WAY but then you dont cause you want to see how big a mess is created. Jimmy Fallon was smeared all across the intersection last night, RIP Jimmy!

Why I basically only watch HBO and Showtime.

I've never seen a Fallon fan. Which makes me wonder how he got the nod to host. I didn't even know that he was taking over till Conan's last episode and my buddy was like "Fallon's taking over" and I was piiiiiiiisssed!!!!!

Well, Lorne Michaels picked him and apparently they went with it because he made a good pick with Conan O'Brien. I mean, I don't watch it, but you gotta give it a few weeks to measure how it's working out.

I haven't watched it yed, but it seems like the worst idea ever.

Fallon is almost as bad as Carson Daly. But not quite.

Yeah but Carson is on ABC in an obscure time slot so it's okay for him to be garbage. Fallon is replacing Conan. It's unacceptable. Rapax, normally I'd okay to give the guy the benefit of the doubt and let it go a few weeks, but I already know Fallon is crap.

Jimmy Fallon is awful! I wondered what all the hate was about because I was getting him confused with that fat Late Show host (not Leno) who's actually quite funny but then I saw Fallon I immediately realised it was that talentless hack from SNL who always smirks and laughs at his own jokes and ruins every scene.

Screw that guy!!



PS What is it with America and it's obsession with having tonnes and tonnes of these Late Show talk show format programmes? Theres dozens of them, in many cases some come staright after the other. Doesn't that get boring?

Well originally it was just Johnny Carson followed by David Letterman on NBC. When Carson was gone Letterman expected to take his place but Leno got the nod. Angry, Letterman left NBC and got a similar show at a time slot the same as Leno only on CBS. So then Conan came on NBC and for a while CBS didn't have a worthwhile show after Letterman (I don't like Letterman) and technically they still don't. But all these shows started popping up for ratings man. Craig Ferguson is all right, he's on CBS now after Letterman. Then ABC jumped on the bandwagon with Jimmy Kimmel and then Carson Daly, Kimmel is funny but Carson suuuucks.

It's all for ratings man. And the celebrity worship that is rampant in the US.

who here thinks Fallon will give Chase a run for his money on being the worst late night host?

Kilborn was the guy after Letterman originally man that guy has disgraced my state.

Yeah after Conan's show huh? I forgot. He's so bad they put him right before the sun comes up.

Anyways, Conan was just getting his legs. Fallon has always been crap, and always will be crap. I won't give him a break cause I have NEVER liked him, and I can't wait to see him get booted from the Late Show.
