    Default Upgrading

Well im going to be upgrading because i want to run MED2 on max instead of just Medium i currently have
    2 Gigs ram
    Windows Xp
    Nvidia 6600 LE
Intel Pentium Dual Core e2200 at 2.20 GHz and 2.19 GHZ

What would be the best performance to price ratio here since MED2 is a bit dated it shouldnt cost to much to be maxed out.

Also wondering how do i check what type of Mother board i have?

Motherboard? What kind of computer do you have? You can go to their website and pull up the specs on your computer.

Unless there is something funky with the custom build -- I am surprised that system is a problem.

Open your case and look through all the wiring. It's printed on there. If I were in your situation, I'd write down every number I could find on the board and use Google to find out the rest.

Your MSI board is the Intel version of my AMD version made by ASUS.

Your memory can only be 633 or 800mz. 3gigs with XP or 4gigs with Vista is max.
If you prefer Nvidia, get the 8800gtx. You don't have sli capability and the game doesn't use it. Probably need to invest in a 500 watt power supply minimum.
Cpu, 2.6 dual core is probably about right. The game only uses one core, any.

If your still unhappy with it on max, blame the game, not the computer.
