Default Your three favorite albums of 2009.

Although were in March I've already made my top three album.
    I'll start as usual:

    1. Lamb of God - Wrath
    2. Kreator - Hordes of Chaos
    3. Sepultura - A-lex

Sadly, The Architects - Hollow Crown couldn't make it to the top 3 but the album is still nice.

My favourite albums so far are:

    • To Lose My Life - White Lies
    • Years of Refusal - Morrissey
    • Tonight - Franz Ferdinand
These aren't spectacular albums and I'm sure they will be pushed back down my "Albums of 2009" list by the end of the year. But, they're the best so far.

So far its looking like it will be as cold and barren as '08 was.

Only 2008 albums I bought were 'The Seldom Seen Kid' by Elbow, and 'In Rainbows' by Radiohead, which was really and 07 album, rather than an 08 one.

That's worth it just for "On A Day Like This". Great song.

Much to early for me to tell. However I want to listen to the new Kreator, before I go an see them live.

Too early for me to put down anything, OP.

    So far, maybe...

The Pains of Being Pure At Heart - S/T (don't worry, the album is better than their name)
Animal Collective - Merriweather Post Pavilion.
Lotus Plaza - The Floodlight Collective

I also like the new U2 one, but there are some pretty horrible songs in the middle, particularly the single.

Animal Collective's Merriweather Post Pavilion is all I listen to that was released this year. I think it's safe to assume it will be on my top lists though.

Nothing's really come out in these last three months...can I list my favorite 2008 albums?

    Aw hell here they are:

    The Cool and Untitled.

    There's a new Kreator album?

I might check Lamb of God. As for Sepultura, I became quite indifferent to them after Roots. Definitely will forget about The Architects.

Man, it March 2009. You have 9 more months to make your list. Or at least add to the title "so far". Just my 2 cents
