Strange French Voice

When playing as the French, has this ever happened to you: An enemy attacks your town or castle and when the voice tells you that you are under siege, it goes something like this:

"Mon roi, the enemy besieges our settlement your settlement. The enemy besieges your settlement."

It's as if he is quickly correcting himself by saying that the settlement is in fact yours and that he was out of line suggesting that he is on the same status level as his king. Is this normal? Is this working as intended? I've been playing the game for a long time and it has always been like this. I use SS version 6.1, but it happened all through vanilla MTW2 and Kingdoms.

I tried the search function but didn't find anything similar to this. Any ideas?

Maybe your pc was just a bit laggy ?

I had that happening once too, can't remember on which mod though. I think it was SS 6.1, cause I was playing KJ and they had french voices.

Hmm who knows. I don't think it's lag because the presentation of the sound isn't choppy, it sounds quite deliberate. I'm getting a new mobo/cpu soon so i'll try it then.

Well shucks, any fool rancher that ain't got more'n 50 posts is more like a slackjawed dirt farmer. Why even a chicken ranchers got 50 posts. Shoot, I got 5 posts a'holden my teeth in.

I don't remember it happening with France, but I did get this with Principality of Antioch in Kingdoms and some mods. It's as if CA forgot to edit the recording or something
