Thanks on behalf of the team (I'm assuming). Anyways, it's a mod that's relatively young, but I'm sure once we finish and release it, it'll be in the books of one of, if not, the greatest M2TW mod ever.![]()

WOW! Lotta confidence here! I'm glad
I am a bit scared that after this week the mod slows down more!

You'll be glad to know that we don't have fun we just work so that you can one day enjoy our efforts. Things are really exciting on the dev team, I think we are all really looking forward to our next preview. It won't be as grand as the first but it will show you what a mammoth undertaking we have on our shoulders and how detailed the game will be. We are basically recreating the world as history tells us it was in 1080.
I will play it only to spend the time waiting for DotS![]()
To be honest, Empires isn't all that great. That is just my personal opinion anyway, some of the new things are indeed cool, like the better melee etc but I just find the era really boring, along with the combat style and units the era contains. I just feel things like the new melee system have gone to waste on an era where armies are beginning to rely heavily on firepower, I wont be playing it too much, sea battles become boring, repetitive and annoying so that doesn't add anything to the game for me either.
Only got it because I am a big TW fan and I will be waiting, probably a long time, for some good mods to be created for it, Medieval and Rome era mods I hope.
So really I am just waiting for Dominion of the Sword, I will probably play that Third Age lotr mod when it's released just to keep me occupied, but when DoTS comes out I doubt I will ever touch a different MTW2 mod again.
Indeed.![]()
A new mobile phone tower went up in a town in the USA, and the local newspaper asked a number of people what they thought of it. Some said they noticed their cellphone reception was better. Some said they noticed the tower was affecting their health.
A local administrator was asked to comment. He nodded sagely, and said simply: "Wow. And think about how much more pronounced these effects will be once the tower is actually operational."
Even if I just bought Empire:TW I cant wait for this mod comes out, I have ben waiting for a long time and I think it will be worth my wait...Wont it
Mabe you will come out with a mod for Empires...
When your done with this great mod that is![]()
No, we are Mediaeval specialists. I am not interested in Modding in the 18th Century, and i doubt too many of the other members are either. Besides, we'll be too busy playing DotS to do all this again.

ETW isn't that great. We'll have to wait for the mods on that...we'll see
But DotS is still at the top of my wish list.
I think Copper got it there.. I will buy Empire but it won't be to play 18th century warfare. Once I am done playing DoTS I will do my part to mod the heck out of Empire.![]()
Hey I'm waiting impatiently.
"Romans not only easily conquered those who fought by cutting, but mocked them too. For the cut, even delivered with force, frequently does not kill, when the vital parts are protected by equipment and bone. On the contrary, a point brought to bear is fatal at two inches; for it is necessary that whatever vital parts it penetrates, it is immersed. Next, when a cut is delivered, the right arm and flank are exposed. However, the point is delivered with the cover of the body and wounds the enemy before he sees it."
