    Default Multiplayer campaign... co-op?

Well we all know after the release CA will be working on the online campaign.

-How does it handle when one player is in a battle and the other is not?

    and

-Are we forced to be versus one another or can we make an alliegence?

It's been mentioned that you can either spectate the battles, or become the other enemy army.

    You can ally.

Would certainly be more fun with multiple players (i.e. more than just two), if very slow :hmmm:

Two is ok, Europe is not big enough for three or more. One player takes America, second India and Europe can be divided. More would be just too much!

is the main difference that a MP can be played online? i mean we already have hotseat mode with mtw2.

someone on the total war forums said that hotseat has been removed which i find stunning if true. why would they remove one of my favourite features?

im hopin its not true as then i wont be able to play my mate

Hotseat was removed for some unknown reason. Why take out a perfectly good feature of the game?

Didn't they say that the 1vs1 campaign was for the beta release and if possible they'd increase that number if deemed game worthy? That kind of leaves all doors open for them. But a man can dream though, right?

They said anything's possible, and that the 2 player online beta will test the game mechanics of a campaign being played online. After that, they said there is a possibility for more then 2 depending on how the beta goes and what people want. Personally, I'd love for more, me and a couple friends want nothing more then to go at it online in the campaign.
