    Default Video Game Presidential Election

    Hello friends,

    I thought of this last night while unable to sleep. Here is an explanation:


    There are several Video Game Parties to choose from:

    FPS(First Person Shooter)
    TPS(Third Person Shooter)
    RTS(Real-Time Strategy)
    Hack 'n Slash
    Adventure

    Anyone has from March 2 through March 20 to declare what party they are part of. After that you must ask members of a party if you can join, and at least half must say yes. I will keep a list of members of each party on this post.

    From March 20 through April 5, members of a party may nominate games from their parties category to be the Video Game President. Chosen games must have been released already. I will compile a list of candidates that have been nominated on this post, so make sure to check it.

    From April 5 through April 15, members of each party will vote for 2 candidates from their list. The person who nominated the games that are chosen will be responsible for speaking for the games, or can choose someone else to speak for them. Be careful who you vote for. I will also update who the voted candidates are.

    From April 15 to April 30, the supporters of each game must run a campaign. Hopefully we can get non-party members to vote based on the campaign.

    On May 1 and 2, 1 candidate from each party will be voted off, hopefully by non-members as well.

    On May 3, the final vote will be cast. Whoever wins this vote will become the Video Game President of the World.


    If you have any questions, feel free to ask or PM me.

    Non-members are encouraged to post their opinions, to help the candidates decide what to do.

    If you are unsure about what category a video game you like belongs in, ask and I will place you in the right party. Make sure that there are several games from your party that you like, as some might not be chosen.

    Yes, God of War is a Hack 'n Slash. Nice pick, I think we may have som people here who like God of War as much as us. Do you have a PS3? The next one is only on it.


    Update: You cannot vote for TW games, as they would win in a TW forum. I'm making an exception for people who have already been put in RTS. If you now want to choose a different party, you may do so.

    I know I will be flamed and insulted for this, but I have to keep it fair.

    Also, if you are unsure about what genre a game is in dont hesitate to ask. games like PoP can be considered both hack 'n slash and adventure, so ask first.
