CTD problem
Ok, i installed SPQR 7.0 over a clean copy of rtw 1.5, and i installed the patch no problem.
game loads, loads campaign, all is good. But every time i click end turn, or try to look at my faction flag at the buttom right corner, it alt tabs me outa game, and it will never go to the next turn. it dosnt crash, just alt tabs me.....Once i get back into the game, i try to click it again, and it alt tabs again.>< i can never get to the second turn.
Just wondering if there was a fix to this.

Re: CTD problem
Are you running Vista?
This idea will most likely not help at all (fair warning), but try alt-tabbing yourself out and back in before you hit the "end turn" button.
I find sometimes vista gets weird and acts like it's on top of Rome, so if you go to the bottom of the screen, it'll work the toolbar icons instead of the game.
Again, I don't think that's a fix, but try it, what the hell!

Re: CTD problem
Roger that. Did you say that it booted you out even when you just hovered over the faction flag next to the end turn?

Re: CTD problem
Also, whenever in trouble, complete reinstall is a first thing to give a shot to. It more seems, that you click on down right of your screen, and there is some windows program, or another application, that is actually visible in game (like when ICQ display someones birthday, you can see that in any game and clicking on it will bring you out into system), so when you click on it, no matter what you are actually clicking on your desktop, not on the game end-turn button.
