Want to applaud Borsook for taking up the mantle of this rather large project, and also .Spartan for appointing Borsook "Bug King". Wise. I was thinking in might be nice to put a link to the .Org's buglist thread at the top to make it easier for us to compare notes. The link is here: http://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=46366 in a thread called: " CA askes for Bug List - to be fixed in the expansion" (optimists are people too )

Link added. Smack, if you're 'hanging' at that thread could you post there things they don't have, but we here do? (I'm involved in several things at the moment, can't read the 5 pages properly)

I cannot. I'm not a member there (keeping it simple). Perhaps someone else will happen along and cross-link the threads on their end...

1. The word "Feature" is misspelled and should say "bugged".

Where? Please quote the entire line if I've made a typo somewhere.

Sorry I was referring to RTW and CA.:p

To add to your post.
1. I had units deployed on stone walls then when I started the battle a few fell off right away to their death.
2. When running down routing units your men stay beside them 'escorting' them instead of mowing them down.
3. Slow unit actions. I have to push a command repeatedly to get them to charge, move to an area or use missle fire.

The siege towers are SO buggy. This happened with about 5 different swordsmen in the space of 5 mins, all of which took a little walk on thin air and then just strolled back into play :lol

I hope to high heaven that NO one is uninformed or unintelligent enough to even consider offering such things to the Stock list of issues. Further, Borsook Is personally responsible for testing EVERYTHING on the list with a stock 1.2 install.

My bad, I play both vanilla and several modded versions of RTW so I get confused :crying My sincere apologies :>< Thanks for pointing that out Tai :happy I can however assure everyone that my siege tower bug pictures are from Vanilla 1.2 (since my load/save pic was from RTR - in which wardogs i removed I beleive? - you can see there are still wardogs hence showing that its not from my RTR game at the very least - I still assure you its from 1.2 however :grin )

So now I get the chair if something goes wrong? *wink*
Seriously, I try to test everything people post here. But, well there are three buts:
- I 'inherited' a large portion of this list from the list on .com, I've already threw out few things that were wrong, but the list is looong, and I'm just one person.
- There are things that are almost impossible to check, cos. e.g. I'd have to play 50 turns in a campaign, sorry don't have the time, nevertheless if the claim has been brought by more than one (or a few) people and seems plausible I'm putting it in, just adding 'Some players report that' line, unless I get a team of beta-testers it stays that way.
- There are things that may be intended by CA but we just don't know that, and can't see how such a thing can be intended, until we get some sort of response we assume those points being 'unintentional mistakes' - e.g. Praetorians being recruitable before the reforms, hell as we all know the 'load game issue' may be consider intentional from The Shogun's post, but still for us (the players) it's an issue.

PS. I'll put a reminder in BIG letters about using 1.2, no mods.

Don't worry Carousel, this load game issue was there from the begining anyway.
And let's all stay calm and friendly, I appreciate the time people who post issues here are devoting, and thank You all for that, even should anyone make any sort of mistake, hell we're only human, and nobody's paying you to do this, we all do it in our free time, often tired after work, so if something slips I say no bug (eh, I mean big) deal

I'm not Sure if this would count or not, but it seems that the AI spawns generals during sieges. As the Julii vs the Britons, the britons siege condate redonum for a number of turns, every turn i took my 10 subterfuge assasin in the area and assasinated the general leading the siege, the next turn, a new general would take its place seemingly spawning out of nothing, with new name and all, the new gens were always 20 0r 21 with no traits, easy to assasinate, which i constantly did turn after turn, but the gens kept spawning, eventually the britons assaulted and lost, but the gen survived, so i assasinated it, and nothing respawned next turn, maybe cuz it wasnt sieging anymore. I had control of the coast so i was fairly sure no reinforcement gens were coming from the british isles, plus i followed all AI movement. I also saw a similiar post to this concerning enemy roman generals spawning at palma during a siege, don't remember where that post was.
