I was adding new general units, several units in fact, to SS 6.4. I did not have any problems that were not user error/typos until I added the last unit. It is an early general/bodyguard replacement unit for Spain, Milan, & Venice, and I was careful to remove ownership and recruiting of the old generals from these factions as I did for other general replacements. For some unknown reason I cannot get "unlocalized placement text" to go away for this unit. The game recognizes the unit in custom battles, campaign, correct stats, shows unit cards, picture, and description, but no matter what I name the unit (dictionary and listed for game: building, script, & start map entries) it still reads "unlocalized placement text". Perhaps there are certain words it does not like or a limit to the number of entries in export_units, the same as export_descr_units, I thought, but removing unused entries did not work nor did naming it anything else (I tried several), I settled on simple "Peers" in all listings but still not working. The unit is incidental to any campaigns I will play for some time so I will just face unlocalized placement text bodyguards if it comes to it. But it did frustrated me as I did everything I knew to do or read in postings. (It must have something to do with the NSA domestic spying, shhhh!)

Unit one the right looks like missing/wrong entries in the export_units.txt.
thank you Irishron, i was playing yesterday and today lol a new campaign, and tought that i had fixed almost every unit_info thing lol, when i saw this unit(there is always something coming...),i took a quick look but did not see something directly wrong,i will look at the export_unit file,if not then i will just rename the unit.
here are mine data;i could found nothing wrong and try everything and nothing helped,so i just changed their the unit directionary name and put it in export_unit text,now it works good,the mysteries of medieval.....Code:type Levy MAA dictionary Levy_MAA ; Levy Mediterranean Men At Arms category infantry class spearmen voice_type Light accent Mediterranean banner faction main_spear banner holy crusade soldier levy_maa, 48, 0, 0.8 attributes sea_faring, hide_forest, can_withdraw, mercenary_unit formation 1.0, 0, 2.4, 2.4, 5, square, schiltrom stat_health 1, 0 stat_pri 9, 2, no, 0, 0, melee, melee_blade, piercing, spear, 25, 1 stat_pri_attr light_spear, spear_bonus_8 stat_sec 0, 0, no, 0, 0, no, melee_simple, blunt, none, 0, 1 stat_sec_attr no stat_pri_armour 4, 4, 3, leather stat_sec_armour 0, 0, flesh stat_heat 2 stat_ground 1, -2, 3, 2 stat_mental 13, normal, trained stat_charge_dist 5 stat_fire_delay 0 stat_food 60, 300 stat_cost 1, 270, 100, 65, 50, 270, 4, 40 armour_ug_levels 0, 1 armour_ug_models levy_maa ownership all {Levy_maa}Christen Levy Spearmen {Levy_maa_descr}these spearmen are recruited for protecting the towns,they have little armour but are easy too upkeep {Levy_maa_descr_short}Christen Levy Spearmen
