    Default Greek firethrower

    I have installed the stainless steel mod yesterday and just started a campaign with Byzantine Empire...but I cannot see any building that is capable of recruiting these guys (firethrowers).What I need to get them? Willthey appear latter on the game? Need I to instal any minimod or something?

    the last barracks in a city can recruit them

    If you really like playing the as the Byzz, check this SS submod out. You start with a unit of firethrowers plus the skins are awesome.

    I wish....My computer can hardly run SS at all as it is, without any special effects :'( Im only running 1 processor which is crappy and about 450RAM. My graphics card is a Pro Radeon 9250 Family Edition. Not sure if its a 9250X or 9250 regular, I think its the latter.

    Edit: I just looked at the screenshots....Im like drowning in my tears. That would be, the BEST mod, if not better than SS, that has ever been created. It was the only thing missing from TW so that they could keep it T......Do you believe in love at first site?(Or other cheap love line) Haha.

    After played more than110 turns I build the last Barracks in Constantinople but still cannot get these guys (and they are so precious),I don't really know why this happen...

    Thanx for thesubmod suggestionI willtry it soon...
    The whole campaign with Byzs is very chalenging, right now Iamfacing a jihad after some years in peace and total prosperity...

    recruit_pool "Greek Firethrower" 1 0.18 2 0 requires factions { byzantium, } and hidden_resource Firethrower
    the firethrower resource is in constantinople so if you own constantinople and have an army barracks in any city you should be able to recruit them
    this is with ss 6.1
    if you have RR\RC installed that might be your problem

    open your m2tw\mods\stainless_steel_6\data\export_descr_buildings file
    click ctrl+f and type greek firethrower
    copy the line you found and paste it here

    This is what I found there...Need I to change the 0.5 to 0.18? Will it work?

    I keep Konstantinople and it is my only city with last barracks.

    it has nothing to do with it. that number is how fast the units poll recharges
    for 0.5 it's 2 turns
    for 0.18 its 6 turns
    alternately go in m2tw\mods\stainless_steel_6\data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campagin\descr_regions if youre playing early era or m2tw\mods\stainless_steel_6\data\world\maps\campaign\custom\Late_era_campaign\descr_regions for late era
    and do a search for constantinople_region

    check if it has the Firethrower resource

    I play an early campaign. The destinationyou gave me doesn't exist for early date campaign but I found this text in m2tw\mods\stainless_steel_6\data\world\maps\base and it is the same...
    The destination for late campaign works...
    I haven't install any submod, just a friend gave me some modifications he did basically on templars faction (text missing, I think is one reskin too)...

    soIhave towait for some turns maybe...Right now I face a Jihad and Constantinople is under siege (for 4-5 turn) is that affect their appearence?

    The reqruitment of those "Siphonatores" is completly diferent from the "vanilla" way plus it's more realistic!
    TGC in order to continue its development seak one or more desicated scripters to put our campaign scripts mess to an order plus to create new events and create the finall missing factions recruitment system. In return TGC will give permision to those that will help to use its material stepe by step. The result will be a fully released TGC plus many mods that will benefit TGC's material.
    Despite the mod is dead does not mean that anyone can use its material
    read this to avoid misunderstandings.

    IWTE tool master and world txt one like this, needed inorder to release TGC 1.0 official to help TWC to survive.
    Adding MARKA HORSES in your mod and create new varietions of them. Tutorial RESTORED.

    It sounds like you have RR installed and have to wait for its conditions to recruit them. I cant think of another reason why you can't.
