Texture quality setting

I don’t have the greatest of graphics cards and have to reduce most of the settings. I reduced the smoke effects and that made a big difference. When I go into the game and into the video settings the Texture Quality setting is always on high when I change it to low it runs really smoothly. Is there any way I can change the for_king_or_country.cfg file settings so that I wont have to change it each time I load the game?

it may be texture_filtering = 2 in the King or Country.cfg file -change to = 1 and then save the file and see if it says low in options of game . hope that dose it

Thanks Grantiscaso I tried that but it still stays on High. Its not the end of the world but sometimes I forget to change it and when the game loads you have to come back out and go and change it over. Perhaps there’s a way of writing the line into the file.
