I don't know but it's weird that the queen of Renly keeps saying that she's still a virgin and never has shared his bed. Because from what I read she must be real hot. And don't think no normal men wouldn't want to share her bed. There is maybe a possibility there.

I'm pretty sure that grrm stated onde somewhere he allways imagined renly being gay, he never stated something about a relationship however allthough it's clearly hinted at in the books.

Yeah, when you put all the clues together it's pretty clear. For one, there's the whole Renly not bedding Maergery. Then there's him and Loras going to "pray" alone before the battle. And Loras's rage when he finds out that Renly died. Brienne loved Renly, and even she didn't go that nuts when he died.

Yeah he's totally gay, it's extremely obvious. In fact, I'm going to assume that the OP was a joke. "conspiracy theories" indeed..

In fact, I think they made him "too" gay. Describing him spending him so much money on fancy clothes, caring more about appearance and manners than policies, having his "rainbow guard", etc.

Loras is my kind of gay guy, "fancy" and stylish, but still a total badass.

Tyrion is actually Aerys Targaryen's son, making him Daenerys brother and a claimant to the throne of Westeros. It would explain why his hair is white while the other Lannisters' is blond, and give another reason (besides his deformity) why Tywin never treated him like a son, and didn't want him to inherit Casterly Rock.

Sad but true. Unfortunately looks that way. I always enjoyed Renly's wit... saw him as a more cerebral Robert; same tastes... but with a more... subtle approach. Not the case though as it happens, his orientation is quite blatant for those who choose to look for it.

Heh, the way I hear it, a dance of dragons might have a few POV Loras chapters, either that or melissandre. If it's Loras... we'll find out for sure.

I don't think renly was such a witted person, I think that down to the core he would have been just like robert after 10 years on the throne, fat and incapable. I put my faith in the words of that smith at the night watch, about stannis being iron, renly being copper and robert being the true steel.

edit: now back to reading steven erikson, I lost all faith in Martin being able to finish he's series. Worst imaginable faith for such a splendid serie

Why not? Aerys (Aegon is the old guy at the wall, Aerys's brother or uncle or soemthign) was pretty old when he died. Tyrion is younger than Rhaegar would be, since he's younger than Jaime and Jaime was like 20 when he killed Areys.

I don't think this theory is right, just that it's possible.

We all know that Jon Snow will eventually rule Westeros after marrying Daenerys who's actually his aunt and that he's Rhaegar's son by Lyanna Stark. That way the ruler will be both a Targaryen and a Stark and thus the lawful ruler of both halves of the seven kingdoms

well we all know that but sadly we all know to that it wil take mister martin at least another 3 lifetimes (which he probably doesn't have) to finish the series so I'm afraid we will never see the live happily ever after
