I love Definitely Maybe and (What's the Story) Morning Glory as whole albums but after that I only like certain singles released after those two albums, and Noel is the better one of the Gallagher brothers, Liam is just an ass
They were ok. I could care less about them now. I have different musical tastes.
Much prefer Blur, Liam is an arse who thinks he's John Lennon incarnate while Noel. He's alright but I don't like the music.

Oasis are great. They're the best band of this generation. Their first 2 albums are masterpieces. The new album "Dig Out Your Soul" is great too, I love the sound of it, a bit psychedelic.
I really like Definitely Maybe and What's the Story they brought back the rock N roll spirit that most bands had denied in the early 90's.
Be Here Now is quite good also don't know why most people hate it.:hmmm:
Regarding their latest material well Dig out your your Soul is really good and Heathen Chemistry also has some great tracks.
I think that Noel is more mature right now, Liam on the other hand hasn't changedthe same old dick.

I really like some of their stuff. I really connect with talk tonight.
I don't like Blur's britpop era stuff.. It's just too "poppy" for my tastes but I do like their self titled album and 13
Well A lot of people in England are related or are sons/daughters of Irish people like Morrisey he is a famous example his parents are Irish but he considers himself English (sorry eire) and he's from Manchester like Oasis and me.

I liked them when they were good.
Definitely Maybe influenced the entire British music scene for the rest of the nineties but the problem was that it was impossible to surpass, that is why British rock was in a decline in the late 90's and the first years of the new millennium. Thankfully Up the Bracket revived much of the spirit and gave a new direction for British (indie) rock, though I fear that none of the bands influenced by the Libertines will make a better album, much in the same way that no one made a better album than Definitely Maybe.
Oh and I think that the difference between Oasis and Blur is that Oasis is working class while the latter is middle class, this was well illustrated when a magazine asked Damon and Liam what they would be if they weren't rock stars, Damon said that he would be a poet and Liam said that he would be a car thief.

Well Liam's an idiot if he says he wanted to be a car thief he would of got nicked. Anyway Oasis don't need him, well for rhythm guitar maybe.
