Disc problems

My medieval 2 disc 2 wasn't working when installing (cyclic redundancy error), so I proceeded to take it to Gamestation where they have one of those disc cleaner/fixer things. The thing is, I had taken both discs and now it seems that gamestation has managed to make disc one unreadable also. I'm normally very careful with discs, and i doubt the machine at gamestation is built to make discs worse (It fixed my completely destroyed GTA IV copy, for example). Is it a DVD drive problem? Or is it just bad luck?

GTA IV is using Securom just like Medieval2.
You have three choices, explain to Sucurom your problem and hope for a positive response, choose which one you want to play, or take the game back and hope you get a refund>
