Eminem Is Back!

Now, before I get attacked for liking rap, I'd just like to point out that I don't. I hate it, singers like 50 Cent just take really good tones and then say a load of random words that kind of rythme.

However, I've always liked Eminem. There is always something about his songs, they are either emotional, inspirational or just plain funny. Anyone else happy he's back?

The first album I ever got was one of his. I used to love the hip-hop musics (before I became a metalhead). I like a couple of his songs these days, but I can't help but find his voice slightly annoying for some reason...

I don't know. The potential could be there, if he'd return to his original roots rather than travelling down the route he went before he vanished off the radar. I think his latest album wasn't that good at all and the drama-heavy style of rapping he displayed didn't suit him that well.

Additionally, anyone who goes out to attack you for liking rap is an idiot. There's absolutely nothing wrong with liking rap and anyone who thinks there is, is quite simply wrong. It's just another music genre that you either like or you do not and if you do not then that's fine but don't make a point out of bothering anyone with that.

I used to love Eminem, after this piece of he just crapped out, I hate him.

Some of the worst stuff I've ever heard, especially since he completely ripped off 2pac twice in this goddamn album.

Excuse me while I go make a 2pac playlist, the only mainstream rapper worth listening to.

I liked Eminems first album, love the humor, and he is certainly one of the most talented out there, but this emo stuff about his family was soon getting pathetic in every sense of the words meaning.

I will check the new album out though, maybe Ill like it.

Yeah, I'd agree. It was pretty bad. I like his new song, Crack a Bottle though, at least the chorus (is it called chorus in rap?) anyway.

When I first heard his song Purple Hills was when I started to like him. I laughed my ass off when I heard it. The part in the middle where they just seem to forget the words and act like they've just made it up as they go along was hilarious. Took the piss out of rap

I like some of his songs. But I just float around in the music world I guess.

That line pretty much killed him, he went from from the witty yet crazy and creative rapper to a person who got too involved in gangsta rap and started to make pop music.

Actually that was the line the ruined Ja's career, people think its too much of a low blow to be accepted.

When i was a confuse teenager infuse with hormones with a constant urge to rebel and molt my identity, Em was one of those dude i listen to most. Imo his first 3 albums are brilliant however encore was meh. Of cos there are people who enjoy those err funny go lucky songs.

Emenim has some real awesome songs, some of the best rap songs. but his latest cd was crap and I'm talking about Encore he made two after Encore with the help of couple of other guys. And believe me it sucked, it was nothing like his early work. He needs to return to the days of lose your self and forgot about dre.

Yes it was a low blow and didn't help Ja's career, but Em wasn't the same after that.

Not only the greatest white rapper, but the greatest rapper in the world...

Rap as a medium, to convey thoughts and ideas, I enjoy. But I dread listening to many current rap lyricists, if I could even call them that.

I love his songs(well, not all of them but...) and i'm glad he's back, back again... Shady is back, tell a friend

i usually hate rap, for some reason i liked eminem's songs.
