what mod?

i wanna download the Stainless steel mod.
but i have a view questions about it.

1. is it for Total war or for kingdoms. or is it for both
2. wich 1 is the best because i have found like 6 of them. like stainless steel 5.0 and stainless steel 6.1

and for the haterz, i hate using the search button because i am verry!!!

First of all, V. 1 is the oldest SS and V. 6.1 is the newest. For 6.1 u need kingdoms and for 4.1 only medieval 2.
Best not bother the other SS's, as 4.1 and 6.1 are the best. (6.1 is THE best out now but use 4.1 if you do not own kingdoms)

Actually 6.2 is newest I think but I use 6.1 anyway.

Sorry I don't think this post is right for the thread but I don't feel it warrants a new thread either...

what does stainless steel do to the vanilla version?
(again, sorry if a really obvious answer to this question is in an easily spotted place)

It has alot of changes compared to Vanilla but it doesn't overwrites any files so u can play both SS and vanilla

i have downloaded it from filefront but when i want to install it, it says this: "This file contains invalid data"

can u help me with this problem

That is the link for 4.1 - the non-expansion version of med II
Remember install 4.0 first, then 4.1 immediately afterwards.

I haven't tried the kingdom version of 6.1 but I was unsure as to which you were looking for so i figured I'd tell you one half of the story at least

okee but im looking for the 6.0 and 6.1 patch.
