    Default "the Great"

Why does this epithet seem to be missing? It would seem to be a completely obvious one to have in there.

Admittedly, I haven't checked whatever file it would be found it for it, but I have just never seen it. Where would I need to look, and how could I add it?

Isn't "the Great" a title that is typically given posthumously? If so, then perhaps it isn't really necessary for the game.

Pompey had it within his lifetime, as I believe Antiochus did before Scipio decked him...

Im pretty sure the great is in there somewhere. I think perhaps the +5 command stars trait gives it (the one you get for winning tons of battles)

it's a trait related to how many factions you destroy I believe.

Manuel Comnenus was called "the great" during his lifetime, as was Lajos of Hungary.

If your faction leader destroys three factions during his lifetime then he will gain the epithet "the Great". The trait is FactionKiller. You king can also be called "the Conqueror" if he kills 2 factions.

I've had several faction leaders known as "the conqueror". No factions destroyed, but a lot of major victories will get you there.

Epithets are in the traits file too. Traits that give epithets will look like:

    Code:
        Level Chosen_by_the_Gods
            Description Chosen_by_the_Gods_desc
            EffectsDescription Chosen_by_the_Gods_effects_desc
            Epithet Chosen_by_the_Gods_epithet_desc

You then can find the description (what appears in-game) in data\text\export_vnvs.txt
