Maximum heroic victories?

Is there a limit to how many heroic victories that will generate a landmark on the strategy map? In my current Egyptian campaign they suddenly stopped appearing, which is kind of annoying :hmmm:

Did you actually get the heroic victories? Or did you win the battle, gain the victory and you could not see the crossed swords on the map? If it is the latter, you may have found a bug.
