Favorite movie soundtracks

Hello I am big on movie soundtracks and I have listened to a lot of good ones out there. And I would like to know what are other peoples favorites.

My top 5:
1. LOTR
2. Pirates of the Caribbean
3. Braveheart
4. Transformers: The score
5. The Dark Knight

The soundtrack to Gladiator, without a doubt.

Yes that is a good one. That would probably be my #7.

The soundtrack of Slumdog Millionaire is great.

LOTR, Star wars, pirates of the carabien, gladiator...

Amélie, Gladiator, Lord of the Rings, Master and Commander to name a few...

One of the few things I really liked about the movie, fantastic soundtrack.

I love soundtracks by Wes Anderson and Quentin Tarentino, Im aware that the director doesnt really make the soundtrack but those two directors always have a simaler theme of music in their films. And I always love the artists they use.

Almost every movie from those two directors is an excellent place to find new music, they both have excellent taste in sound.

LoTR, Star Wars, anything and everything by Hans Zimmer or Ennio Morricone.

All of these scores are absolutely stunning. You can listen to them without the context of the film. Even if the film may not have been great, these are still great scores.

Yeah Im surprised no one named the Transformers soundtrack Jablonsky did.

I think Hans Zimmer does a great stuff too even tho he's always clouded in controversy over credits. Last Samurai is an INCREDIBLE sound track that to this day I never get tired of hearing.

I'd like to add "Jurassic Park I" and "Star Wars" to that list

Some other good soundtracks to listen to are King Arthur, Narnia, 300, and a Knights Tale

I like the Trainspotting soundtrack personally.
