Game freezing at the computer's turn

Hi!

I didn't know exactly where to post this, but I'm playing Stainless Steel so I guess I'm on the right track at least. Apologies if it should be elsewhere.

I'm playing as Seljuk, turn 50-ish on Stainless Steel 6.2 late campaign. Every time the turn goes to the Papal States, the game freezes. Once it got past the Papal States, but froze at the next country. I never had this issue earlier in this game, or any other game for that sake.

Computer specs: 4870x2, C2D@3,0ghz, 4GB ram, Vista 64bit.

What could be the cause of this problem, and how would I go about fixing it? Very appreciative of any response.

try posting the log and we can try and help. Are you running any other sub-mods?

No additional sub-mods installed, I got the permanent arrows off the 6.2 file, but didn't care to install the rest.

This was all I had in the log file when I checked it first:
18:39:53.682 [system.rpt] [always] CPU: SSE2

Restarted to see if I could get more next time I got the error, and of course it stopped freezing. Oh well, thanks a lot for the help anyhow, the thread may be closed now.
