    Default where to put patch 1.5 rar file to install 1.5 patch???

    Ok, again i searched the forums and there are a lot of topics in regard to patch 1.5 but couldnt find my answer, maybe i should search more but it already took me more than half a hour.

    i downloaded the 1.5 patch from the totalwar site. It gave me a total_war_kingdomsengfritgesp RAR file. How can i install this so my game will be upgraded to 1.5.

    thx in advance, and please in dummy language.

    ps. I read things about unpacker but i havent got a clue on how to do it, so step by step is much apprecieted thx

    Half hour isn't very long searching for some things on the web.

    Rar is the extension for winrar. Go to www.winrar.com and download their free copy. After you install it, it will unzip it for you so you can install it.

    Unpackers are for modders and mods that need them unpacked. For your purposes right now, best advice is leave them alone.

    this happened to me when i download my first mod. I waited all night for the mod and when i woke up in the morning and checked it it was a file my computer couldnt open so i deleted the file. Now i know better haha
