    Default sorry for this questions guys

    ok so I finally got me a new rig built it started up SS and start playing with the resolution setting in the options menu right. well I'm an idiot and push the wrong resolution and now I cant play SS as soon as I load it tells me resolution not supported. I know this isnt the place to ask but can anybody help me with my little prob.
    yes I feel like a noob but mainly just dumb LOL this was gonna be ivstannssss great return.

    You can change the resolution manually in the medieval2.preference.cfg file in the M2TW folder. Scroll down to the video section and you'll see the resolutions for both battles and the campaign map.

    ok does the game have to be unpacked cause all I get from the cfg file is video = widescreen 0
    and game = allusers =1

    Wow really? I've got a whole bunch of stuff in mine. And the copy of my game isn't unpacked.

    Well at any rate, try putting in the following:

    Code:
    [video]
    battle_resolution = 1680 1050
    campaign_resolution = 1680 1050
    See how that goes. Obviously change the resolution to whatever your system can manage
