what laptops do you suggest? do you think these will work "Toshiba Satellite® L305-S5921 15.4" Widescreen Notebook Computer With Intel® Pentium® Dual-Core Processor T3400 " or
"Acer 14.1'' Extensa 4220-2148 PC Notebook with Intel Celeron Dual-Core Processor T1400"

because honestly i cant spend 1000 right now. the absolute most i can spend is 500

I work at Walmart and they don't have a laptop that will play this game unless you want to slam it off a wall out of frustration.

Save your money up and get something worthwhile.

If your looking for a good brand name laptop I suggest the Dell XPS. It has a pretty fast processor and video card (I have the nVidia 8600 series I think), that runs smoothly on large and huge unit sizes , and runs between 1000-1500 USD depending on what you put on it and what sales dell is giving at that particular time. I know people say dell isn't always reliable but I received great in-home service when i had a problem. And when people say M2 can't run on a laptop, they obviously haven't played on any recent laptops. I play M2 only on a laptop and I have better graphics and unit sizes than alot fo desktop users. What you invest in your system reflects what you will get out of it.

Here are some recommended specs if you are looking into laptops:

    CPU: Pentium 4/Athlon 64
    CPU Speed:
    2.4 GHz Intel® Pentium® 4 or AMD® Athlon™ 64 processor or equivalent recommended
    RAM: 1GB or more
    OS: Windows XP or Vista
    Video Card:
100% compatible DirectX 9.0c 256 MB Hardware Accelerated video card with Shader 3 support and the latest drivers (NVIDIA® GeForce™ 7300 or greater or ATI® Radeon® X1600) <very important for gaming, get the best one possible

If you want a good, under $600 solution, then buy a refurbished desktop from TigerDirect, as well as a graphics card. Only problem is, you'll have to get the graphics card installed somehow, which isn't a problem if you're comfortable with fiddling around inside your computer case.

i tink you're right desktops are the way to go. ive been told though that although dell has good warranty its has alot of problems. and i just wanted to ask if i could buy a desktop computer from another place instead of tigerdirect. like target, walmart, best buy, office depot, or frys.

im just wondering would this work
NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE Graphics with TurboCache with 128MB dedicated graphics memory

Don't get a deal unless it's an XPS. And yes, I got my HP from Walmart. It can run MEdieval II fine. NVIDIA GeForce graphics and a fast enough processor. But if you plan on getting just a dell, don't. They are way to slow.

Got two things against it because it isn't made for 3d gaming per se. It's an onboard chip and it shares your ram with the processor. It will play but if you're looking for instant graification on high settings, in my opinion, you're wasting your money.
