What? A 305BC Mod? Excellent! Will that be in the next release?

Next release will contain a first version of a provincial campaign, which starts in 305BC.

A couple of months ago, I read something about a Spartan provincial. I just updated and I've been too busy to check, but are we still waiting on that?

This mod gives depth and accuracy to Diadochi factions, focusing on the era between the rise and fall of the successor states around 305 BC - 147 BC. Introducing two main campaigns, 279 BC and 305 BC.

The Battle of Magnesia was fought in 190 BC near Magnesia ad Sipylum, on the plains of Lydia (modern Turkey), between the Romans, led by the consul Lucius Cornelius Scipio and his brother, the famed general Scipio Africanus, with their ally Eumenes II of Pergamum against the army of Antiochus III the Great of the Seleucid Empire. The resulting decisive Roman victory ended the conflict for the control of Greece.
This marks the end of the Seleucid Empire. The Parthians had weakened them to a critical point and the failure against the Romans was enough to let the Empire crumble slowly away.

The Fourth Macedonian War, which lasted from 150 BC to 148 BC, marked the end of Greek Leagues and Macedon as a sovereign power. Corinth was completely leveled by the Romans in 146 BC, the same year as Carthage. This marked the beginning of complete Roman supremacy in the Mediterranean. The Year 146 BC is when the Imperial Campaign in Diadochi ends.

Sounds great, Redfox. I personally cannot wait for the next version of Diadochi. It's going to be amazing.

I second that, its just a matter of playing the waiting game now ;D. Be worth it as well, esp the wooden walls and the newly done Pyrrhic Wars, imo. But of course all the other new stuff that's being added that has been worked hard on.

let's try not to offend other mods guys, or we'll end up in harsh language and flaming posts...XGM, Roma Surrectum and Europa Barbarorum are very good mods, they make questionable choices like every mod and I wouldn't say they are mediocre for that...

Someone can dislike, yes, but we must always consider that behind every mod there are days and days of hard work, and simply another idea of modding, skinning and mapping...

oh no i never thought about other modders looking in this forum.

i was just speaking out of personal experience and in my personal experience i couldnt get into those mods as well as i did dtw. all those mods are great and deserve their share of credit and all those modders are heroic for making such a project so successful but right now im just way too much into dtw to play any other mod and enjoy it as much as id like to. this is just my opinion and im in no way trying to say it is a fact.
