Well, the latest information of the map is still active.We have a finish map for the grandcampaign on Medieval.
But I'll change it a lot (, because america is in the same map) or maybe even make a totaly new one (, because I don't know the new map-system in Empire..I'll see).
We didn't decided on how many maps there will be.
But I have two suggestions:
1. - Two maps, first is europe with western russia and second is northernamerica and caribean.
2. - Three maps, northern america with caribean, middle and westerneurope and easterneuopre with russia.
What would you guys like most?

You have two mistakes for the Germans: First, the translation of the conscript is incorrect.
Conscript = "Wehrpflichtiger" in German
"Steuer" in German (what you wrote) = tax
Btw, the vast bulk of any German army in the world wars consisted of conscripts - which were adequately trained and equipped, with some small exceptions like your example.
Second: In the part for Germany infantry (German spelling: Infantrie), you wrote that the main weapon was the Kar98k. This is wrong, the Kar98k was developed and issued in the interwar period. The main German rifle of WW1 was the Gewehr 98, which means rifle 98 (because it was developed in 1898). The Kar98k is a shortened carbine version of it (Karabiner 98 kurz = "carbine 98 short"), which was the main rifle of the Wehrmacht in WW2.

How are you going to integrate trench warfare into your mod? The fighting dynamic and style is completely different between ETW-era and WW1.

Just throwing it out there, Dr Cooper got something wrong. The Germans DID NOT use the K98, that came about in the 30s. K98=Karabiner (Carbine) 98, a shorter, handier version of the G98 (Gewehr=Rifle).
I'd like a different theatre for the colonies (mainly in Africa, only, even), fighting in East Africa and whatnot will be fun.

Love the idea! But personally my main concern with this is the aircraft, I mean aircraft could of been amazingly good, if only both sides had created more of them.
As it was airplanes were mainly only engaged in bombing military tragets behind (Ill come back to this in a sec) the lines and scouting, and obviously, engaging other military aircraft. Plus, the anti-aircraft gunners of those times were mostly.... well they rarely hit anything. There was trench strafing going on, but not very much.
Also, fog of war perhaps? Like in some other games (AOE) the planes could reveal this (Simulate scouting), and one more thing, Balloons! They should play a big role, they did in the war, they allowed both sides to see what the other were doing.
One more thing, how will bombing runs be implmented into the games? Zepplins could reach london and bomb it, and long range bombers destroyed far away targets, so how will this be implemented?
It most likely wont... not a major loss for a WW1 mod to be honest.
Anyway could the name be changed from WW1: Total War to something like the Great Total War. As WW1 loading screens look a fair bit dodgy lol as at this time no one knew about WW2
