CAMPAIGN GRAPHIC BUG HELP PLEASE

Whats this, it seems to be a graphical bug or something?
I would really want to know what is causing this and how
i can change it back.
Id prefer Not to reinstall my game cause i dont know where the disc is HELP PLEASE Exuse the large picture

Yes i unpakced the original m2tw but that was quite some while
ago. THis is kingdoms. I added some files for modding in the teutonic
folder(which is where this happend) without my kingdoms being unpacked.
But i dont think this is what is causing it because all the other
kingdoms games like Brittania, Crusades, Americas have the same problem. I think it might be that i installed the Grand Kingdoms mod. It wasnt very fun so i unistalled it. This might be it.
I hope i dont have to reinstall my game.

Unpacking the game has nothing to do with how your screen looks. Delete the map.rwm and start a new campaign.

the problem is in the .SD files in the UI folder


try this solution:

go to your vanilla data folder and create/copy-paste the UI folder and put this files there:

-battle.sd
-shared.sd
-strategy.ss

I cant find Shared.sd or strategy.ss? The Battle.sd is in the UI folder already

C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\data\ui has all three in mine.

you need to unpack them



go to

C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\tools\unpacker\


and right click in unpack_x.bat (x = campaign name) and choose Edit

then copy paste the following line:

 
unpacker.exe --source=..\..\mods\teutonic\packs\*.pack --destination=..\..\ --verbosity=1 --base_pack_path=mods/teutonic/data/  --filter=*.sd

save and run the .bat

(the .sd files will be unpacked)


then play the game, and hopefuly your problem will be solved

I have these files in my kingdoms UI but not in the UI of my vanilla.

I unpacked the teutonic campaign anyway, and now i cant even start a new campaign :S it just goes back to the sigle player screen

Delete the map.rwm in the teutonic campaign. Then try to start a new campaign.

I think i might of done that already. Im not 100% sure but i think ive already deleted it.

Custom battles dont work either, it just goes back to the choosing factions screen

HAha mods work so now im just playing with LTC and SS 6.0. Im fine i dont really like the orignal games anyway.
