    Icon4 Emulation Software Conflict issue...

So when I put the disc in I get this message:

    "Conflict with Emulation Software detected.
Please have a look at http://www.securom.com/message.asp?m=emu&c=2500 for further, more detailed information."

And this is what the link says:

"SecuROM™ has determined that emulation tools like 'Alcohol 120%' or 'Daemon Tools' are running. Please be informed that SecuROM™ protected applications will not work with such tools.

Please unmount your image, close these emulators, and insert the original disc in order to start the application."

I was told that the game, Battlefield 2, could be the cause of this conflict so I uninstalled everything to do with that game and deleted any spare files. Medieval II still refused to work. So I uninstalled and deleted everything to do with Medieval II... and the disc still doesn't work.

I've played Medieval II before and was enjoying it until I installed Battlefield 2 - then this problem started.

The question is, how can I solve it?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give,
    -Chesty.

Did you clean the registry? Battlefield2 may still have links in there.

How do you mean? I went to program files and deleted everything to do with EA... hm... apart from Mirror's Edge. Do you know whether Mirror's Edge could conflict with Medieval II?

A quick Goole and you would have found this: http://www.pcgameshardware.com/aid,6...ction-details/. Yes, Mirror's Edge is Securom.

EA, right? Have you followed this: http://reclaimyourgame.com/index.php...d=68&Itemid=40 followed by cleaning your registry?
