What settings?

What settings should I be able to play Med2 on? I've been playing on like medium and low settings but I'm not sure if that is the case. Here are my specs:

Your PC looks a lot like mine but I put in 3GB ram. I run medium to high setting with large armies and it is pretty smooth.

Thanks, and what is a resonable framerate to have duringbattles? Like, using FRAPS... also, is there a way to have fraps running, but not have the yellow numbers on your screen?

Thats a pretty good card for a laptop but I'm not familaur with ati as i am with nv so im not sure about its performance but 15-20fps would be a minimum to play m2tw properly and you can disable the fps display by selectng disabled under the overlay option in the fps tab of fraps.

true, andsince yo can't upgrade laptops it looks like this is were im gonna have to stay everything on medium

. I figured that since this was new (I got it for christmas) finally play Med 2 on the highest and see the beauty graphics everyone was talking about but thats a no go. I tried it and it was choppy to the max. and no ETW for me....

you could try etw on low...

well there is plenty of mods around here that are probably better than ETW anyway and should keep you busy for awhile.

fraps adds major overhead reducing performance when its running and even more when tis recording. try wihtout fraps and see what happens.
