    Default zooming out -> no legs

    First of all hello and great mod.
    Did use the search but coul not find anything.
    While playing the teutonic order with DLV 4 PE i discovered that the legs of the teutonic foot knights are missing when zooming out. They are "standing/walking" on their chest. When zooming in evrything is alright. As far as i noticed it is only this unit. I know In barbarian invasion there is the same problem with some barbarian sword units.
    Is this a known problem with DLV? Any way to fix it?

    Guessing here but it might just be lod (level of detail) issue. The game switches to lower resolution 3d model when you zoom out depending on your settings. Might be that lowest resolution models have some part of their bodies removed to increase performance. Obviously this shouldn't be visible to player. Try changing the unit details setting in video settings if this changes anything.

    That issue is caused by them not using the correct sprites. They are using sprites designed for use by cavalry units and since the horse is a seperate sprite their legs disappear.

    To be honest I thought I'd fixed this issue for Teutons when I fixed it for the other orders, I must have missed them. I'll get it sorted for the next BB update.

    well same for the other orders, did you see that imeant dlv 4.0 PE?
    An if it is fixed in 6.0 is there a way to use it in 4.0 PE?

    Oops no I didn't see that. Yes, it would be easy for you to fix it yourself.

    Just download my BB stuff and compare the entries in battle_models.modeldb with the ones in DLV4, it will be obvious (sprites have a .spr filename extension).

    Looks like it wouldn't work, you'd have to find other sprites if you don't have kingdoms.

    This is the incorrect line: "45 unit_sprites/hre_NE_Late_Bodyguard_sprite.spr" you can see it's for cavalry so you need to change it to an infantry sprite. Just pick one with similar colours to replace it with.

    I tried, did not work, wanted to replace it with the dismounted feudal knights, but if changing
    45 unit_sprites/hre_NE_Late_Bodyguard_sprite.spr with
    53 unit_sprites/hre_Dismounted_Feudal_Knights_sprite.spr
    no effect
    if i let the 45 stay and copy in 45 unit_sprites/hre_Dismounted_Feudal_Knights_sprite.spr
    the game does not work/start
    and what about the 44? is there a change needed?

    if i put in this
    57 unit_sprites/hre_Dismounted_Feudal_Knights_ug1_sprite.spr

    same as above
    tried both or only one change
    i have no idea wats wrong :hmmm:

    'ug1' stands for 'armor upgrade 1', you might have only set the sprite for the 1st and 2nd armor upgrades.

    Did you change this one too?: 44 unit_sprites/hre_Teutonic_Knights_sprite.spr
