Provinces you despise!

Which regions on the campaign map do you hate most? For me the list has to be something like this:

• Durrezzo: It never develops into anything more than a town. I will be impressed if somebody takes up the challenge of playing until that rotten dump becomes a huge city.
• Stettin: It is very annoying to me for some reason.
• Dongola: Lots of unrest even though it's only a little place.
• Ryzan: The shape is awful. Same with Kiev.
• Valencia: It has a large garrison at the start of the game, and a powerful general.
• Rhodes and all the other islands.

Well I hate those places from Netherlands (it saddens me that i have to hate my own country) and belgium, I think its Antwerp and/or Brussels. Im not so good with the names. Anyway, they have a strong garrison from turn 1 and thats kind of unfair.

Well those two places are Bruges and Antwerp. Both in Belgium, not the Netherlands.

They where one off the most wealthy cities in early medieval times. And the Flanders where constant in war because off this wealth.
The large rebel stack could represent the huge victory the Flemish had over the French in 1302, Battle of the Golden Spurs

+Oslo and the north eastern Russian ones. It takes forever to get there, and nothing really happens there. I also hate the ones in Africa, nothing ever happens there.

durazzo,arguin,timbuktu,dongola,all the provinces in rusia,jedda - on the edge of the map, takes a damn long time to get to them
every island province - "i never like sailing anyway" - Byzantine General when going off a ship
bruges and antwerp - i always get attacked by the danes when i have them,
oh yeah and rome - the worst person in the world lives there

I don't have a geographical dislike for any province, nevertheless I have no respect for settlements that have a population of twelve, or provinces with very little trade potential. If you don't make it least two thousand for me, I don't like you.

Durazzo definately. It's so heavily contested for by the Hungarians Venetians Byzzies and Sicilians that i've never seen it larger than a large town before. Waste of space that place is

Personal least favourites though, is Innsbruck. I dunno why, just never liked it. It is too small as a castle to be truly useful, and far to small to make any monies as a city.

Jedda, bloody hell doesn't develop, trade is awful, and is on the crappiest coast ever. And Dublin, hell of a garrison for a village! And it always has a heretic on it.

Antwerp. Always get attacked by Poland or the Danes. Dublin for sure, those crazy huge dudes with the axes are pretty flippin annoying in the early game. Staufen, great castle and all, but always has a montrous garrison and at least 2 generals...

I epically hate with a passion Toulouse, your always getting attacked by french, spain, portugal, depending who you are, and even Milan and Ive had once in my french campaign Venice come all the way and seige it, im constantly under seige, but actualyl a great place for a castle to build units and protect you from the Iberin penninsula OR from Western Europe, so its got an upside downside but for hw mcch its under seige i spit on it!

Palma. Good city but I think the AI is hardcoded to send everything they have there.

Yeah, I hate that one too. Though that may be because it had the plague in my big Turkish game, and I had to avoid taking it for a while. It went rebel when I killed the Bzantines' last leaders.

How can you dislike a province? I mean any province you own brings in some money and if its not makeing much keep it lightly garrisoned. Plus if its a crudy place the enemy might not be watching it closley makeing it a grand place to launch a large army from

Not all provinces, some say that Durazzo actually drains your economy!

The AI kind of likes to attack cruddy places though...

Salona, its the neighbor of Durazzo and has many of the same problems.
