    Default Cannot Save

    Well, this is a great mod....I installed and played all the way to about 255 BC, however when I tried to save the option to save in the menu was a light gray, it and would not allow me to save. I figured it'd be ok, as I'd just quit and be able to load up my last autosave....well I tried that and the last auto save was only a maybe less than 10 turns in?

    Did you quit the campaign and return to the main menu, but then started a new campaign? Once you return to the main menu, you need to quit the game altogether. Otherwise, in your new campaign, new load, etc., you won't be able to save.

    Yeah, that can happen with any mod that uses a campaign script like we do. HoH has actually put together a work-around for it which is included in 3.4, but I haven't had time to post on it yet (still chasing that bizarre Sarmatian bug). It's at the top of the 4tpy script file, though, if anyone's curious.

    Ahh...damn...I invested nearly 4 hours, and the game was just starting to get fun, as I always spend the first 40+ turns just waiting for the AI to build up to make the game more of a challenge.

    It was pretty demoralizing....I uninstalled it and downloaded Roma Serectum over night. I've played that a long while ago, and I'll give it another try, but after seeing if that mod does as good at limiting the income cities have, the same general composition I saw armies having in your mod (loved it...how'd you guys do that) and the fewer minor battles (still there, but I don't think there's really any way around that.) All in all great mod....

    I'm sorry about all the time you lost. This is a common problem, but it's not one we can fix without going back to the ridiculous summer/winter dichotomy of Vanilla.

    Convincing the AI to create balanced armies was extremely difficult. We spent a lot of time on it, but I'm quite happy with the result. The trick is to tweak the relative costs, build times, and availabilities.
