Fixing imbalances in the game DIY style.

What still ticks me off about even the patched version of M2TW on Very Hard is that my standing with other factions slowly goes down, and it's too easy to get a Despicable reputation. I want to change this and also change any other free bonuses which only go to AI factions (such as maybe AI factions tend to target me over each other and break alliances). It feels like a much more pure gaming experience if we're all on the same level and the only thing the AI has as an advantage is good logic and the fact that I'm trying to do the impossible and take over the world.

Could someone tell me how to get rid of some of these free bonuses which go to AI factions only?

You can just play on medium to avoid morale bonuses for the AI. As for the others, I feel like if you choose Very Hard you are signing up for a tougher time, even if this means an unfair balance in the game.
