    Default 1.2 ?bugs?

I am currently playing EB 1.2 and I am amazed! I am a big RTR fan, but EB takes the cake!
Ok... to get down to it...
First I was scanning the surrounding area, getting a feel for the new map, taking it al in... and i noticed... in Arabia just north of Sab'yn is the large barren land of Eremos... and im almost certain it doesnt have a town... if thats possible... i never found it if its there.
I also noticed Lakonia (Sparta) has 3 or 4 different territories down on its peninsula... just thought that was weird?
The second one, is group moved pathfinding... ive noticed if you select a group and move it so it stays in formation some of the units in the group dont "catch up" to the original line and end up "stagering" back a few steps...
I also saw an instance playing as Arverni where the AI in battle mode while playing offense finds a spot and sits there... I managed to systematically destroy an entire Aedui stack in a battle i should have lost and won because they didnt counter attack or do much but throw stuff at me, when they could have easily out flanked and wrapped me up with their troops... they were on offense too! (VH/VH by the way).
Just wondering if you knew, if thats how its sapposed to be, or anything really

Arabia is not meant to be conquered. It is part of the same province as the Sahara, and the town that governs both is unreachable.

The area south of Sparta represents cape Taenaron IIRC. It was a famous mercenary hub that could not be reached from the mainland.

I can't help with the pathfinding issue.

Thank you Ludens, the merc part makes sense, so you put a smal slice of everything there for merc training... thats good!
Ok that makes sense, but the Sahara has a city on it... This place doesnt...
Ok, hmm? I dont know about the path finding, its not a big deal I just thought id bring it to your attention

    Thanks again

The centre of Arabia is part of the same province as the Sahara. If you mouse over them on the minimap, you'll see that both the Sahara and central Arabia are called Eremos.

    Eremos is Greek for desert.

The battle pathing thing isn't an EB issue. Grouped units just act weird in RTW sometimes. If they fight and are pushed back a couple steps, they will stay in that spot unless you manually reposition them.

About the AI standing around and not fighting back: Was that a reinforcement army? Often times if you destroy the first AI army, the second one will try to form up as though the first army is still there. They will then not move until all units are in their spots. Since you've killed or routed many units, they'll never have all their units in the correct spots and will thus stand around waiting forever.

no they didnt fight, i know they will push back if they are getting hit hard, but i just swing my troops and they dont line up properly most of the time, and i need to reselect them and line them up again... and I was around playing total war sence medieval 1 and ive never encountered this in the rome series until now... it is minor as of compaired to some of the bugs out in the world but its ok, i can deal

ok it was a reinforcing amy, but the army that attacked me was botroas and sotroas(sp?) and the reinforcers were a huge stack of mixed everything... so i charged down the enemy with cav and dispatched the first army almost before the reinforcers were on the map
