Archers against the Mongols

When deploying my archers I usually automatically switch the fire arrow button. I know its morale destroyer at the enemy. But when fighting against the Mongols is it worth it? They almost never flee. My last campaign I fought against a full stack 3 silver chevron army. I can capture just about 30 men. And I heard that my archers use normal arrows they will fire faster (or more effective?). Any experience of it?

Well archers fire normal arrows way faster (go check out!) but ehm i don't know if it reduces accuracy... People say so, but to me it seems that people in the middle ages like to walk around covered in flame-able oil!

It does reduce accuracy and often the number of deaths you cause usually because you run out of arrows faster with fire. Only use fire when you have a ton of archers and don't need to conserve missiles, or when you are trying to kill an enemy that is not affected by your arrows. (peasant archers vs dismounted knights)

i almost never use fire arrows unless i know ill win or am disperate, but like i said almost never.

Sometimes when playing England I use fire arrows when attacking at night because I like the disco look of 480 longbowmen showering Scottish pikemen with glowing, magical drops of heaven.

Use flaming arrows only in certian fights like when defending a bridge or whne the enemy is bottleneck iat my gates, the accuracy is quite good in thoses circumstances due t the fact that they are caught in a smaller, tighter area.

Like others said flaming arrows have less accuracy, lees firering rate and also less ammunitions
