Installation problem

i bought this game new because well my first version broke, so i finally bought it put it into my new comp, and nothing happens. i put in any other disc music movie game whichever it works i put in med. 2 nothing. Securom issue? after some 20-30 minutes auoplay popls up and thinks its a music disc, so i click to view files and they all look like they are there so i click launch and now i am waiting for something to happen. help?

ps. my lil sis plays sims 2 is that a problem i also play civ. 4
i own no emulation software so i dont know why securom is freaking out, at only med. 2 shouldnt it not work with sims as well?

Sims2 is Securom and your problem. Now, it's between you and your sister.

so i uninstalled sims 2 and med. 2 still wont install, but sims still will.

EA being what it is, Sims is probably Securom, too In Google type copy protection sims and you can find out for sure.

well they are unisntalled still wont let me install med. 2
i also looked around on the web for ways to get rid of securom, and nothing really is working
