    Default Units with dual weapons

I want to make a unit that has twin blades/axes. It would be easier if I could just modify an existing unit that wields twin weapons. Are there any and If so what is there name?
If not I guess I would have to make a new animation, right?

There are none. U will probably need to make a new animation.

Not even in any mods? Someone should have thought of this by now. The idea is very cool even if it isn't historically accurate.

There are 2 ways to do this....the easy way...and the hard way! The hard way will look better, but hte easy way is...er...easier!

    HARD WAY:
Make a new mesh with the 2 weapons. Make sure they are both set up as 'primary' weapons, and rig them to the relative hands. The left hand weapon will have to be assigned to the hand, since the weapon bone is to the right. This does not have any issues with regard to the game. Next, make a new set of combat animations to make your soldier wave his extra weapon about and attack with it.

    EASY WAY:
Say to hell with the animations, and choose an animation set for a single weapon plus shield. The left hand weapon should be a small knife or some such, and the weapon would then be waved about as the warrior fights. It actually doesn't look too bad. I found some animations look better than others in terms of actions.

Actually...you could make a reasonable imitaion of 2 handed fighting by converting all the attack anims to text, and then reversing the left/right component of the rotation for the right hand...this would give a mirror image of the attack...and pasting it in over the left hand animations. Quite a few animations to change....but it would work.
