Worst controls in a game you ever played

Whats the game that had the worst controls in your opinion.

At the moment. Alone in the Dark for the PC. Its basicly a 360 game ported to the PC with no changes.

You think thats bad on the PC version of Alone in the dark when you go into 3rd person view automatically the mouse is useless when you move and you have to and I mean HAVE to use D and A to turn, its completely stupid.

I've always felt Operation Flashpoint and Armed Assault have atrocious controls. It's very hard to do anything fluidly and with precision when things are so counter-intuitive.

Fight Night round 3 with it's joystick punch controls. Totally crap.

I just changed the controller configuration to buttons and smash every opponent every time with ease, which made the game pointless.

I don't really like the controls for the Elder Scrolls series. The controls feel better on Xbox 360.

I don't like driving games on the PC in general. The keybord just doesn't feel right. I was recently reminded when I played through Mafia recently. The high speed driving sequences were extremely frustrating because of the keyboard controls.

My first thought.
Really though any game where you control ONE character and the controls do not feel natural within 1 or 2 minutes is pretty terrible.
Sure, if I'm playing some complex strategy game I expect a learning curve. But managing simple tasks I can do subconsciously IRL should not be a chore in a game.

The original Resident Evil controls are only wonky for those who can't deal with the camera changes.

In about 5 minutes, I had no problem navigating rooms at full running speed. In 20, I was dodging zombies in tight corridors.

Two Worlds wasn't that bad. I must have played it for over 10 hours before I read the reviews and it was rated like "3 out of 10" and so on. It's like I was playing a different game.

It was a 3rd person Oblivion that ran on my computer. Everything was pretty average, average magic, average action, the armor sets were cool though. The factions were cool. I also liked the mini plot twist where you found out the orc camp was destroyed completely. I liked the secret caverns and crypts, many many quests. Basically it was a more diverse Oblivion.

I don't really remember any bad controls.. dunno. Shaq Fu.

Because it was impossible to ride a horse in that game.
Seriously, you tell it to ride forward and it starts riding to the right or left, hell it was completely random.
Even worse was when it just took off and jumped off the nearest cliff, damaging both you and the horse in the process.

I think I ran a lot, but I did use horses too. If you got hurt going down hills, that's funny. I don't remember anything that really pissed me off. Hell Witcher has pissed me off way more with stupid design decisions than Two Worlds.

Metroid Prime - Hunters (DS)

Seriously, I could not aim for **** on that game. That, and it expected you to be able to hold the DS as normal so you could push all the buttons, AND hold the stylus to aim with at the same time.
