I opened this thread so we won't have to spam the suggestions/bug thread anymore. Any comments can go here

so let me start; what do you guys think about the Gaelic nations? I've noticed they usually field abnormally huge armies.
I mean with 3 settlements u can't field full stacks can you now? Interesting thing for Avalon players

They have lots of cheap troops (as do the hispanics) so tend to field numerically large armies, but their poor tech levels, means they tend to lose a lot of men in battle.

It is a way of balancing them against the higher tech levels of the other factions

Sorry to be thick but exactly what is meant to go in this thread as opposed to the others...I don't get it...

I'm a master at posting things in the wrong place & I'm easily confused

Well you just post your crap here that shouldn't be in the suggestion thread. example that question about who get's the naffatun or who likes elephant rocketeers, these shouldn't be in the bug(CTD) report thread

My main bug bear (no pun) is posting general chat on the bug thread, everytime I see a new post on that thread my heart misses a beat, as I wonder whether someone has found some horrible CTD or bug

But ehm about the Gaelics, when I play them and have the all the Gaelic island settlements I can barely afford "just" 2 stacks.

Yet they easily field 5 with half the island!

from first glances this could be a racial state ment

,,,,,, ok anyways, i always find that the eygptians hav extremely few ppl defending thyre settlements,,, and that no one ever appreciates the navy

well im sorry then if i offended anyone, but yes i knew there was a hispanic faction, any ways has anyone else noticed that there is only medium fertile regions and no high of low fertile regions? besides the desert of course

I hate those mesocala culture cities

They all look kinda the same and when I attacked a settlement I thought "oh easy it's probably another one of these wooden pallisade-things". And then there's a stone wall around it full of native archers who shoot me to pieces. Ah well... I have more men then they have...

Im sure you didnt, but people get sooo touchy as soon as anyone mentions potential racial slurs, it is best just to steer clear of the whole minefield

As for fertility read the mod intro the planet has been ravaged and is only now beginning to recover

well that explains it, but i mean the entire planet and the entire thing recieving an equal amout of ravaging.....er ok that works...

anyways i think i saw rocketeer elephants (4 units of them) finally get beaten, but they were beat by peasants!(2 STACKS of them)

im pretty sure it was a group of egyptain peasants.....either that or some other maraculously weak unit that also has the apearance of a eygptain peasant.....

I forget what the unit's called (I think it starts with a 'B'), but the picture for its portrait is that of the vanilla M2TW peasant. Maybe that's what he means.

i hav a pict of them in battle against my romans, here it is
and yes this is in the campaign, but just so u know i hav not downloaded the newest patch these guys were extrordenarely weak and just got

so that is my case on that, anyways i cant believe the elephants were defeated by these puny tweebs....
