A couple of problems

Hi all,

Love the mod, actually having to think more tactically rather than just having loads of heavy cavalry. The problem Im having is with bridge battles. There are three bridges so far, Devon/Cornwall, Winchester (?) and one around the Oxford area, where the battle works but the game crashes afterwards, goes to a black screen and I have to restart the PC. Is this a known problem? The other minor thing is that my settings dont stay the same when I start the game, the graphics etc all have to be changed every time and the camera always defaults to RTS (I prefer the total war camera).

Sorry to whinge, its just that Im actually enjoying M2TW for the first time in a long time.

The bridge crash at Cornwall is a known bug. The others i've not had any problems with.

You need to edit the cfg manually.

I can't edit my cfg file when i open it with notepad, and change the file it sais:
he can't make it happens
control if it is installed in the right path under the right name. I use vista

someone?

maybe your cfg file is read only. check file attributes. i have vista and have no problem with editing.
