    Default quick question

I have some mods installed in my rome total war directory, each mod in its own modfolder...everything works perfect ,no conflicts, no nothing...but sometimes when i doubleclick the shortcut to start a mod, it starts rome....for example when i try to start chivalry and i double click on chivalry icon, rome tw starts instead....or when i try to start viking invasion, barbarian invasion starts instead....this happens about 1 time in 5 when i try to load a mod...is this normal?..it's not a problem for me, cause i quit rome, and when i try again it starts with the mod..

No, not normal, rather strange if this happens only randomly.

I guess it has soemthing to do with your multiple RTW directories. If your games work properly though, then i would eventually not take the time to change everything.

How can it start RTW when you use the BI shortcut, since they use different .exe files?

Perhaps you have not always the right path, and cd/dvd in the player slot? Anyway, if your games work properly then don't worry.
Wish you fun with your mods.

Another question, unrelated to the one in the OP.

This mod is great, I like everything about it accept for one thing.

Not to quibble, but the tiny size of the armies/individual units on the campaign map bugs me. I have to strain my eyes to see them. Maybe it is more realistic, that they are more to scale. I like that it is a group of soldiers and a faction flag, rather than just the leader and a faction flag as in RTW. I'd like them to be bigger though. This is a small, merely cosmetic thing in what is otherwise a great mod.

*How would I change their size, and the size of the ships too? I have no idea how to mod? Is this something that can be done easily?

Thanks again for a great mod, I am enjoying it.

jsx0123:Those models indicating armies on the map were made my members who are not active in the team. Currently we possess no modelling skills. The biggest flaw is not their size but the fact that the symbols disappear completely when character/armies are out of movementpoints.
If you want to learn I suggest you do a search in the workshop for tutorials.
There is a mod "The Crusades" by Caius Brittanicus which have customsymbols that would be fitting for this mod(and they are bigger). For your personalmodding you might snatch those.

Athenogoras: OK, I should just be happy with this mod as it is. Your idea is a good one though, I'll try that.

Thanks again for the mod and your reply.

Oh yeah. Which specific files in the RTW folder would need to be swapped? I don't even know that. Would it be as easy as swapping them between Chivalry and Crusades?

bumping a topic wich was used not 2 hours ago makes no sence
anyway, i have NO IDEA..i'm currently learning how to skin (indeed, SKINNING!!!)
text modding shouldn't be TOO difficult though, i recommend (as earlier) those workshops...there must be SOME around.
some searching in the files should do, to.
