i just got medieval 2 and already im having problems.

the game works fine to start with when going through the menu, then i set up a campaign which works perfectly but when i start a battle it all goes to hell.

it starts in the deployment. the game screen shrinks to half the original size into the top right hand corner, then it fills the screen again with a control menu blocking all most the whole game screen, the thing that opens when you push ~, the game runs in full speed and the sound is set on mute(which you have to switch off in the game menu). when i fix all this while the battle is still going it will all happen again from about 5 to 30 seconds after it all started.:hmmm:

this is only happening in battles and not the campaign.

could someone please help me with this.
