faction banner problem

just reinstalled ss 6.1 after a few months away from the game and i've come across a problem i've had before. on the campaign map most of the faction banners are either the ones from the vanilla game or something completely different. like ireland has a rebel banner with a green flag or aragon has a timurid flag with aragonese colors. i just wanted to know if anyone else came across this and knew of a way to help.

Try reinstalling SS6.1 again over the top of your current installation. Sometimes the installer can miss things.

i've tried that before thinking it would work but it never does

Try copying SS\data\banners (not the sub-directory though) into the M2TW\data\banners folder (but take a backup of anything in that folder first).
