    Default Princesses. Why bother?

These insufferable wretches seem to be more trouble than they're worth. They're useful in the early game, when it's easy to get your princesses diplomacy hearts, and you need to cement alliances with other factions. After that, all my kings and princes seem to father are contemptible, two-hearted, harpies. Unless I absolutely need another general, I just send them off as free diplomats, and spurn all marriage proposals. Does anyone else have this problem?

i usully just send my princesses off early on to marry and cement alliances. other than that, they are useless. i agree, they didnt need to be in the game, but it doesnt matter..

They make excellent targets with which to hone your assassins skills. If princesses were really good at diplomacy, why didn't King George send one over hear to patch things up with his rebellious subjects?

Because high charm princesses you marry off give bonuses. Of course, later in the game there isn't much opportunities to increase their charm unless they are the offspring of an extravagant general (which means that they spoil their daughters which gives charm bonuses).

Really? I hadn't noticed that. I had assumed her starting charm was just random. Wouldn't a spoiled princess be bad?

Alex is right charms work in the same way as any other agent in this game more charm equal more potential to conclude a diplomat deal or to steal another factions general...

I only use princesses to marry them to my good chivalrious commanders or dreaded pwners () so they will stay loyal to me.

I hate it when my 16 yr old princess has a 44 yr old suitor and my dad finds it funny to click the tick!

I never really make use of princesses...I intend to use them to poach a general or two but before I get them moving, I've gone ahead and married them off to a potential suitor before I can go 'Errr, hang on a tick!'

What I love about Princesses, is that if they have 3+ charm, it says that she's beautiful (Or if she has that trait), and from the general who married her I get like 5 other generals, all awesome... So I find Princesses only useful for one thing: Marriage, they suck at diplomacy, and I find the fact you have to click so many times on so many windows when you tell them to approach someone diplomatically, annoying.
