    Default Questions about Steam

I've started to play MTW 2 again recently, and I was trying to get the Kingdoms expansion. Since I can't find it at the moment in stores near my location, I was thinking about geting it from Steam. But I have the "regular" Medieval 2 version, will the Steam version of Kingdoms be compatible with it?

Also, btw, I've tryed to use the key in my Medieval 2 box to had it to the Steam game list, but it seams like it doesn't work, right? (That makes me suspect I won't be able to get the steam kingdoms to work with it...)

Thanks in advance for the answers.

It will work but you will need to move the Kingdoms files to your M2TW folder. Steam just downloads the game and someother stuff

So, I just move the downloaded files to the Medieval folder and all will be fine? Good, I'll buy it from there then; but there is no way to had the original Medieval II to the Steam games list, is there?

Also, does Kingdoms have any kind of achivements in Steam, like some other games as Portal?

The games are in here C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps in the common folder. You could uninstall M2TW then install it in that location and may work but i havn't tested it

This is probably too late but...

I've found that the Direct 2 Drive version of Kingdoms works just fine over a box version of M2:TW.
No modification of the install required.
