PLEASE, do not use such words when describing the work of other people.
If you don't like it, you are not oblidged to use it.
Ask what you want in a nicer way and then -be sure about that- people will be more willing to help you...
    THANK YOU

With a mod this size, you need to be more specific and provide lots of evidence of the so-called "imbalance". Also, this is not an attempt to recreate history, it's an attempt to rewrite it however the cookie crumbles in your particular campaign. In some of mine, Portugal has been destroyed without me ever seeing them.

Try to be humble in the beginning and tell what mood you are in as you critisize. Some feel offended by your post. as They have spendt 1000 of houers on something you generalize in 1 thread. I'm not going to answear your question, but tell you why: This is total war engine. That means that you might be playing as France, Venice, Sicely, Denmark, Polend. Not as Spain, Germany, Milan, England.
Thorolf was thus armed. Then Thorolf became so furious that he cast his shield on his back, and, grasping his halberd with both hands, bounded forward dealing cut and thrust on either side. Men sprang away from him both ways, but he slew many. Thus he cleared the way forward to earl Hring's standard, and then nothing could stop him. He slew the man who bore the earl's standard, and cut down the standard-pole. After that he lunged with his halberd at the earl's breast, driving it right through mail and body, so that it came out at the shoulders; and he lifted him up on the halberd over his head, and planted the butt-end in the ground. There on the weapon the earl breathed out his life in sight of all, both friends and foes. [...] 53, Egil's Saga
I must tell you here of some amusing tricks the Comte d'Eu played on us. I had made a sort of house for myself in which my knights and I used to eat, sitting so as to get the light from the door, which, as it happened, faced the Comte d'Eu's quarters. The count, who was a very ingenious fellow, had rigged up a miniature ballistic machine with which he could throw stones into my tent. He would watch us as we were having our meal, adjust his machine to suit the length of our table, and then let fly at us, breaking our pots and glasses.

Maggy, it might seem hard at first with how unfairly things are slanted towards the AI but eventually will get a better idea of how to play and then probably realise that there are ways for you to make money and support your armies that the AI will never master. I suggest you check out the guide for new players that Xtiaan is working on, I think you will have a much easier time with a little help.

If I knew how to remove these costs I'd tell you even though I think it would ruin the game
