Downloading this mod now. Just looks epic. I've been wanting to play Rome Total War for a bit but couldn't go back to the poor AI and primitive graphics. This mod looks perfect for me!

Should of played IBFG SAI for RTW. That mod was beautiful.

Ok I'll admit it the barbarians are outstanding. But the romans, ok they're past their prime and constantly on campaign.
But shouldn't the elites at least have the advanced kick ass armour that their stats include, that would make this mod.

Right now the team is working on changing the textures for the upgraded units, particularly the WRE. Originally we had a standard unit and an upgrade 1 unit with no visible change. That is being worked on.

In time we may add an upgrade 2 unit to the rosters with even more visible changes in textures. The elites will get their advanced armor.

the amount of work you've done is impressive !!! congrats to all the team.

Could someone post some pics of the WRE units (like 1 of each would be nice)
and a pic of the campaign map at the start of a WRE campaign please?

Sorry i'm new to this mod and it looks very promissing.
I know this must be asked often but here are few of the questions:

-what is EB2 concentrating on? more western empire or all roman empire?
-which is the goal of EB2? represent romeTW on med2 engine? or just a fraction of the roman empire?like wre or ere or both?
-the beta is going well it seems, are you planing on releasing v1.0 soon, or are you far away from it?
-i read of your cooperation with EoR mod, is your goal to assemble both mods in the end?
- and last but not least

are you or EoR planning on making a unit with Segementa Laurica (if i'm not mistaken, the armour of the pretorian guard from rometw after marians reform)

Sorry, fo I supppose lots of the questions already have been asked.

Col Poutting, for now I think the mod is focusing on the WRE, but will expand later, Midnite will be able to give you more info about that. As for the other questions, I'm not really qualified to give an answer.
However, Lorica Segmentia armoured troops will not be featuring, I'm afraid. It would be like going to war nowadays with a musket and bayonet. Sorry.
