Realistic battles
I was wondering if anyone has saved replays of realistic battles, battles that have all human players who know something about tactics. I would like to see what a real medieval battle would look like, or at least as realistic a battle as possible with the game engine. Speaking of realism can someone give me a link to a mod that increases realism ala Rome: Total Realism?

Re: Realistic battles
It would pay to be a bit more specific when you say you are looking for a mod that increases realism. Increases it how? By doubling fatigue and morale penalties? by increasing unit costs? By making units harder to retrain/more rare? What are you after in particular.

Re: Realistic battles
Well I'm after improved diplomacy and unit types mainly I'd like to avoid any "Hollywood" style units if at all possible.

Re: Realistic battles
There are any number of mods that address those issues. Some of the main ones are Stainless Steel, Dues Lo Volt, Retrofit+GUAM, Lands to Conquer to name but a few. If you search the mod index you will find a complete list where you can pick a mod that would be to your liking.
