    Icon10 XGM Diplomacy (v2) - Faction vote

    Hey all,

Firstly, full credit to be given to Double X for bringing the suggestion of a new XGM Diplomacy Game. If he wishes to take the reins, I will gladly step aside, but I was (for some unknown reason) quickly and incredibly hyped up by his suggestion of starting a new XGM Diplomacy Game that I decided that we had to at least get the ball rolling before the idea died away. Oh, also, credit to Unknown Soldier for the first XGM Diplomacy Game, of course.

First thing's first - which faction to play? Vote now!

[EDIT] I've just changed the poll to a multiple choice, so if you have a few - rather than one specific - factions or campaigns you would enjoy taking part in, select them and we'll simply see which is the most popular of the lot.

Well, I would tend to think The Seleucids have the most action, being that you border so many other factions...

From practical reasons, I would suggest to go for a faction with few starting settlements: less things to discuss in first turns and the game can get some pace sooner rather than later. I would go for a nice Greek prov campaign. How about Epirus?

You know, I might change my vote to Epirus...I just read Plutarch's version of Pyrrhus' life. For those of you who haven't read it, it's very short and a really good read!

Vote Masalia then. They face many oponents, need to act very quickly and has a nice roster.

Getting some pretty interesting - though not entirely unexpected - results but it does seem that there are a few out there that stand out. In a bid to get this thing up and running ASAP, I'm going to start round two of the votes tomorrow morning and hopefully people can start contributing possible names for the game.

Until tomorrow morning, kids, vote like crazy because you've only got a few hours left to make your minds up!
